Mary K. King, Associate

Mary Kathryn "Katie" King graduated from Emory University School of Law in May 2005. While at Emory, Ms. King worked as a student attorney for the Turner Environmental Law Clinic and held leadership positions in several public interest organizations. Ms. King received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Studio Art from Duke University in December 1998.  After graduating from Duke, Ms. King served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Gabon, Central Africa, where she developed HIV/AIDS education programs in local schools and taught maternal and child health in remote villages.  Before attending law school, Ms. King studied horticulture and landscape design in the graduate program at North Carolina State University.  Ms. King is fluent in French.

Ms. King's practice at Chitwood is devoted to corporate securities and consumer class actions.
